    Wambui and Christine. Although you see woman working in the Kenyan police, army, and even within the KWS (Kenyan Wildlife Service), there are currently no female rangers on the Trans Mara side of the Maasai Mara National Reserve. Despite this, Wambui wielded great power within the organisation and brushed off sexism and tribalism as easily as the savannah dust.
